Deborah H. Siegel, PhD, LICSW, DCSW, ACSW, is a professor at the School of Social Work at Rhode Island College in Providence.

Sue Coyle, MSW, is a freelance writer and social worker in the Philadelphia suburbs.

Suzanne McDevitt, PhD, is an associate professor at the Edinboro University of Pennsylvania School of Social Work.

Valerie L. Dripchak, PhD, LCSW, provides services to veterans, active service members, and their families and facilitates workshops to community agencies in clinical practice areas.

  2. Discuss the trend of end-of-life care in prison and how it is helping prisoners, volunteers, and the prison system.

  4. Describe some of the issues facing today’s female veterans and some measures being taken to alleviate them.
